Our Story

Huron Pines Campground is a special place for families visiting Michigan’s northeast shoreline. When the opportunity came to continue what had been built here, we knew it was something we wanted to carry forward.

Camping has been a part of our lives for as long as we can remember. We’ve spent countless seasons camping throughout Michigan and traveling to campgrounds all across the United States. Along the way, we’ve experienced what makes a campground truly memorable, from the little details to the overall feeling a place gives you.

Our goal is to bring the best of those experiences together to create something truly special here at Huron Pines Campground.

We are committed to preserving the welcoming, “mom and pop” feel that makes this place unique, while thoughtfully improving and growing the campground over time. Our focus is simple: create a place where families can relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories year after year.

We believe campgrounds are more than campsites, they’re where childhood memories are made, traditions are built, and families reconnect around campfires, bike rides, beach days, and slow mornings with coffee at your campsite.
